Amexil soap is a topical medicine used to treat scabies, a skin condition caused by mites that burrow into the skin and cause itching. It contains two active ingredients: cetrimide, which acts as an antiseptic and cleansing agent, and gamma benzene hexachloride (lindane), which kills the mites and their eggs.

- Wash all clothing, bed linens, and towels used in the past 48 hours in hot water (at least 60 degrees Celsius) and dry on high heat

- Avoid scratching the affected area, as this can cause infections
