• Bacterial infections in the eyes, ears, nose, throat, lungs, skin, bones and joints, gastrointestinal tract, and urinary tract.

• Known allergy to any ingredients of Aelxim Of Dry Syrup.
• History of epilepsy or an existing brain disorder.
• History of tendon disorders related to fluoroquinolone medication administration.

• Nausea
• Vomiting
• Diarrhoea
• Dizziness
• Loss of appetite
• Stomach pain

Other General Warnings

• Your child is using other antibiotic medications
• Your child has heart, liver, or kidney problems
• Your child has had a history of mental illness
• Your child has myasthenia gravis, which causes muscle weakness
• Your child had diabetes or low blood sugar
• Your child has inflammation in the large intestines (colitis)
• Your child has skin conditions such as Stevens-Johnson Syndrome

How Does It Work?

Interactions with other medicines

• Concomitant use of antacids, zinc or iron preparations, or sucralfate medications reduces absorption of ofloxacin
• Concomitant use of theophylline reduces the seizure threshold
• Concomitant use of probenecid, cimetidine, methotrexate, and furosemide raises the blood levels of ofloxacin
• Concomitant use of blood thinning-medications like warfarin increases the chances of severe bleeding
• Concomitant use of glibenclamide causes increase in blood levels of glibenclamide
