• You have a history of allergic or hypersensitivity reaction to cyclophosphamide, other alkylating agents, or any other ingredients of Zuviphos tablet.
• You have a blockage that prevents urine from flowing normally (urinary outflow obstruction).

• Severe bone marrow failure and serious or fatal infections (sepsis, septic shock)
• Severe bladder toxicity (hemorrhagic cystitis, bladder cancer)
• Heart problems (myocarditis, heart failure, arrhythmias)
• Lung toxicity (pneumonitis, pulmonary fibrosis, respiratory failure)
• Secondary cancers (leukaemia, lymphoma, bladder/thyroid cancer)
• Liver veno-occlusive disease
• Infertility (may be permanent)
• Severe low sodium levels (hyponatremia)
• Poor wound healing

• Low white blood cell count (neutropenia)
• Fever
• Nausea and vomiting
• Hair loss (alopecia)
• Inflammation in the inner lining of your mouth
• Dizziness

• Loss of appetite, abdominal discomfort, diarrhoea
• Skin rash, skin darkening, nail changes
• Premature menopause
• Absence of menstrual period

• Hearing loss, ringing in ears
• Vision problems
• Severe stomach or gut bleeding, pancreatitis, colitis
• Serious liver problems (hepatitis, liver failure)
• Severe allergic reaction (anaphylaxis)
• Muscle breakdown (rhabdomyolysis), joint or muscle pain
• Nervous system effects (seizures, confusion, nerve damage)
• Kidney problems, bladder damage
• Reproductive effects (ovarian failure, testicular changes)
• Severe lung conditions (ARDS, lung scarring)
• Severe skin reactions (Stevens-Johnson syndrome, toxic epidermal necrolysis)
• Tumour lysis syndrome
• Blood clots, vein inflammation, blood pressure changes

Other General Warnings

• You have signs of infection such as fever, inflammation, chills, and fatigue, as Zuviphos tablet can weaken your immune system and increase the risk of serious or life-threatening infections.
• You notice blood in your urine, experience bladder pain, increased thirst and fluid intake, or an increased need to pass urine, as the medicine can harm your urinary tract or kidneys.
• You have heart or lung problems, as the drug may cause serious heart damage or breathing issues.
• You are pregnant, trying to conceive, or worried about fertility because Zuviphos tablet can harm the baby and may cause infertility.
• You have liver problems, are having surgery, or experience confusion or seizures, as the treatment can affect your liver, slow wound healing, or cause low sodium levels.
• You notice new-onset or worsening shortness of breath, cough, swelling of the ankles or legs, palpitations, weight gain of more than 2.5 kg in 24 hours, dizziness, or loss of consciousness.

• Your doctor will decide the dosage and duration of Zuviphos tablet based on your treatment plan and your specific health condition.
• Zuviphos tablet should be taken by mouth. Drink plenty of water or fluids to reduce the risk of urinary tract damage. Take Zuviphos tablet in the morning.
• Swallow the tablet whole with water. Do not open, break, chew, crush, or dissolve the tablet.
• Zuviphos tablet should always be prescribed by your doctor; do not take it on your own.

• Store Zuviphos tablet at 20°C to 25°C (68°F to 77°F); short term temperature variations are allowed between 15°C to 30°C (59°F to 86°F). Store it away from excess heat and moisture.
• Keep this medication tightly closed, and out of reach of children and pets, and in a safe location.
• Since Zuviphos tablet is a hazardous drug, ask your pharmacist or healthcare team how to safely dispose of unused or expired tablet. Do not discard them in household waste.

• Due to the high risk of bone marrow suppression, decreased immunity, and infections, routine blood tests will be performed to monitor blood cell counts. Monitor your temperature regularly and report any fever to your doctor immediately.
• Drink plenty of water or fluids when you take Zuviphos tablet to reduce the risk of urinary tract damage.
• If tablet of Zuviphos tablet are accidentally opened or damaged, avoid inhalation or contact of the contents with the skin or mucous membranes. In case of contact, wash the affected area with water immediately.
• Women of reproductive potential should use effective contraception during treatment with Zuviphos tablet and for 1 year after the last dose.
• Male patients with pregnant partners or female partners of reproductive potential should use barrier contraception (such as condoms) during treatment with Zuviphos tablet and for 4 months after the last dose.
• Male patients should not donate semen during treatment with Zuviphos tablet and for 3 months after the last dose.
• Zuviphos tablet may impair fertility in men and women of reproductive potential.

Overdose

• Contact your healthcare team or seek emergency medical help immediately in case of accidental overdose with Zuviphos tablet. Do not wait for symptoms to appear.
• Overdose with Zuviphos tablet can cause severe reduction in blood cell counts, bone marrow suppression, damage to the urinary system, cardiac damage (including cardiac failure), veno-occlusive liver disease, and inflammation of the lining of the mouth.
• Your healthcare team will monitor your blood counts and provide supportive care to manage symptoms and blood cell counts. They will provide appropriate treatment for infection, bone marrow suppression, and cardiac damage. Dialysis and cystitis prophylaxis with mesna may also be done.

Missed a Dose

Interactions with other medicines

• Some HIV medications (like protease inhibitors and zidovudine) can increase side effects such as infections or low white blood cells.
• Other chemotherapy or immune drugs (like paclitaxel, doxorubicin, busulfan, azathioprine, etanercept, cytarabine, pentostatin, trastuzumab, and natalizumab) can raise the risk of bone marrow, heart, liver, or cancer-related side effects.
• Certain antibiotics and antifungals (like metronidazole and amphotericin B) may worsen brain or kidney side effects.
• Blood pressure medications (such as ACE inhibitors) and diuretics may increase the risk of low white blood cell counts.
• Radiation therapy, especially near the heart or bladder, can raise the risk of heart damage or bladder bleeding.
• Blood thinners (like warfarin) and muscle relaxants (like succinylcholine used in anaesthesia) may have unpredictable effects when taken with cyclophosphamide.
• Amiodarone and white blood cell-boosting injections (G-CSF/GM-CSF) may increase the risk of lung side effects.
• Indomethacin may increase the risk of kidney-related fluid retention. Cyclosporine levels may decrease when taken together, which can reduce its effectiveness.
• Tamoxifen taken alongside chemotherapy may increase the risk of blood clots.
