Dr. Sasirekha K is a prosthodontist and medical writer with experience in dental education, prosthodontic practice, scientific communication, and healthcare content development. She is currently working as a Medical Writer Intern at PharmEasy, where she develops evidence-based healthcare and patient education content across multiple therapeutic areas. Her work involves literature research, simplifying complex medical information, and supporting healthcare communication initiatives through medically accurate and reader-friendly content. Previously, she served as a Senior Lecturer at Maratha Mandal's Dental College, where she mentored undergraduate and postgraduate students in Prosthodontics, guided clinical case discussions, contributed to scientific writing, and managed prosthodontic patient care with a focus on patient education and interdisciplinary treatment planning. She also worked as a Lecturer at Manipal Academy of Higher Education, assisting in undergraduate teaching, preclinical demonstrations, and clinical mentoring. Early in her career, she gained clinical experience as a part-time clinician at Sai Dental Clinic. Dr. Sasirekha completed her Master of Dental Surgery (M.D.S.) in Prosthodontics from Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences. Her thesis focused on the comparative evaluation of 3D-printed and acrylic resin denture base materials. Her key interests include prosthodontics, patient education, scientific writing, evidence-based dentistry, and healthcare communication.
