Medical Description

Zerodol MR tablets are used to relieve pain and inflammation caused by conditions such as arthritis, back pain, joint pain, and muscle spasms. This medicine combines two active ingredients: aceclofenac, which helps reduce pain and inflammation, and tizanidine, which relaxes tight or stiff muscles to ease discomfort. Together, they work to improve movement and help you feel more comfortable during daily activities.

Many people find this medication helpful for conditions characterised by both pain and muscle tightness. It is essential to take the tablet exactly as your doctor prescribes, typically with food to minimise stomach upset. Taking it after a meal can also help reduce the risk of side effects, such as nausea or acidity. Do not take more than the recommended dose, even if you feel the pain is severe.

Some people may experience side effects such as dizziness, dry mouth, or stomach discomfort. If you feel nauseous, try eating small, light meals throughout the day. Sucking on sugar-free lozenges or drinking water can help relieve dry mouth. Make sure to stay hydrated and avoid alcohol while taking this medicine, as it may worsen side effects like drowsiness or stomach irritation.

Before starting Zerodol MR, let your doctor know if you are pregnant, trying to conceive, or breastfeeding. You should also inform them if you have any medical conditions, especially related to your liver, kidneys, or heart.
