Zanocin OD 600 tablet is used in various bacterial infections of the lung, throat, airways, nose and ears. This medicine is used in the treatment of certain sexually transmitted diseases. It is an an

tibiotic containing Ofloxacin as its active ingredient. Ofloxacin works by inhibiting the bacterial DNA, thereby restricting their growth and eventually killing the bacteria. You should not use this medicine if you are allergic to Ofloxacin. Nausea, vomiting, stomach pain and itchy skin are some side effects of Zanocin OD 600 tablet. Most of them are temporary but if you feel the side effects persist or your condition worsens, you should contact your doctor immediately.

  • If you are allergic to Ofloxacin or any other ingredients of Zanocin OD 600 tablet.
  • If you are allergic to the class of medicines called Fluoroquinolone.
  • If you have Glucose-6-Phosphate Dehydrogenase deficiency (an inherited disorder that affects red blood cells) or a family history of this deficiency.
  • If you have problems related to the tendon (tissue connecting muscles to bones) like inflammation and swelling of the tendons (tendonitis).
  • If you are pregnant or are planning to have a baby or if you are breastfeeding.
  • If you have a history of fits (epilepsy).
  • If you are below the age of 18 years.
