Store the medication in a cool and dry place. Make sure to keep it away from children and pets. If you have taken more than the prescribed dose and you experience symptoms of overdose, contact your doctor immediately or rush to the nearest hospital.

- Take this medication in the dose and for the duration as prescribed by your doctor
- Give this to your children in the metered cap attached to the bottle
- Do not use any other measuring device, such as a different spoon or caps
Interactions
Interactions with other medicines
- Phenytoin, phenobarbital and rifampicin may decrease the efficacy of montelukast
- Co-administration of fexofenadine with ketoconazole or erythromycin increases the level of fexofenadine in plasma
- Concurrent administration of an antacid containing magnesium hydroxide or aluminium gels before fexofenadine hydrochloride reduces the bioavailability
- Co-administration of phenobarbital with montelukast decreases the area under the plasma concentration for montelukast
- Co-administration of montelukast and gemfibrozil increases the systemic exposure of montelukast
Storage and disposal
- Keep this suspension in the original container or packet
- Keep the medication a cool and dry in its original container between 25-28°C
- A bottle with an expiration date that has passed should be discarded immediately
- It should not be flushed or thrown away in the sink
- Keep away from children and pets
