Vintor 10000iu Pre Filled Syringe Of 1ml Injection
Description
Vintor 10000 injection is a medicine prescribed to address anaemia, a condition characterized by a shortage of healthy red blood cells necessary to transport oxygen throughout your body's tissues. The active substance in Vintor 10000 injection is erythropoietin, which stimulates the bone marrow to produce more red blood cells, thereby increasing the overall red blood cell count. It is commonly used for anaemia resulting from conditions such as kidney disease (including in adults and children on dialysis), or cancer chemotherapy.
The medicine's action, as an erythropoiesis-stimulating agent (ESA), promotes the formation of red blood cells in the bone marrow. This mechanism is crucial for correcting low blood counts and alleviating symptoms associated with anaemia, like weakness and tiredness. Vintor 10000 injection is also used to reduce the necessity for red blood cell transfusions in people who are at an elevated risk of significant blood loss due to planned, noncardiac, nonvascular surgery, as well as major bone surgery.
Before receiving Vintor 10000 injection, your doctor will assess your medical history, as there are specific conditions that contraindicate its use. You should not be given this medicine if you have an allergy to erythropoietin, any other ingredient in Vintor 10000 Injection, or to mammalian cell-derived products or albumin. It is also contraindicated if you have high blood pressure that is not effectively controlled, or if you have a rare condition known as pure red cell aplasia, where the production of red blood cells is severely reduced or has stopped.
