Medical Description
Veloz D capsules are used to treat gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD), where stomach acid flows back into the esophagus, causing symptoms like heartburn and chest pain. This medication combines two active ingredients: rabeprazole, which reduces stomach acid production, and domperidone, which improves the movement of food through the digestive system. By working together, these ingredients help prevent the backflow of stomach acid and relieve GERD symptoms. It's crucial to take Veloz D as prescribed by your doctor for the best results.
Inform your doctor if you are pregnant, planning a pregnancy or breastfeeding, about all the medicines and supplements you take and all the conditions or diseases you suffer from before starting Veloz D capsule.
Along with taking medicine on time, certain lifestyle modifications can help you manage your acidity problem better. Try eating smaller meals, eating slowly to avoid overeating, and lying down immediately after having a meal. Limit your intake of alcohol, avoid smoking, and maintain a healthy weight. Consult the doctor to understand what works best for you.
Some other capsules containing rabeprazole and domperidone are Razo D capsule, Rabekind DSR capsule, Rabesec DSR capsule and Rabium DSR capsule.
