Medical Description

Rabium DSR capsule is a combination medication used to treat gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD) when rabeprazole alone is ineffective. GERD occurs when stomach acid and contents flow back into the esophagus, causing heartburn, chest pain, and regurgitation. Rabium DSR contains rabeprazole, which reduces acid production, and domperidone, which improves stomach and intestinal movement, preventing acid reflux.

Rabium DSR should be taken as directed by the doctor and in doses and duration as prescribed. Take the capsule an hour before the meal.

Some other capsules containing rabeprazole and domperidone are Razo D capsuleRabekind DSR capsuleRabesec DSR capsule, and Veloz D capsule.

Rabium DSR capsules may cause side effects like headache, nausea, vomiting, stomach pain, and dizziness in some people. These usually go away on their own, but consult your doctor if they persist. Before starting Rabium DSR, tell your doctor if you are pregnant, planning to become pregnant, or breastfeeding, and share your complete medical history.
