Medical Description
Ulgecaine suspension is a combination medicine used to relieve acidity, heartburn and pain linked with ulcers in the stomach or food pipe. It contains dried aluminium hydroxide and magnesium hydroxide, which neutralise excess stomach acid, and oxetacaine, a local numbing medicine that eases ulcer-related pain. The antacid ingredients reduce acid irritation while oxetacaine provides local pain relief. The suspension is taken by mouth after shaking well and should be used only as advised by a doctor. It is not intended for mouth ulcers.
