Description
Trioday Tablet is a combination medicine used to treat Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV) infection. It contains efavirenz, lamivudine, and tenofovir as the primary active ingredients. Efavirenz decreases the virus in your blood, strengthens your immune system, and reduces the risk of HIV-related illnesses. Lamivudine and tenofovir inhibit virus growth, diminishing its blood concentration.
This medicine should be taken as directed by your doctor. Take it with a glass of water, at the same time every day, for optimal results. Common side effects include skin rash, difficulty concentrating, dizziness, nausea, and vomiting. Do not discontinue this medicine on your own. It is important to note that this medicine is not a cure for HIV infection.

Trioday Tablet is used to treat Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV) infection.
Contraindications
- If you are allergic to efavirenz, lamivudine, tenofovir, or any other ingredients in this medicine.
- If you have severe liver disease.
- If you have a heart condition such as changes in heart rhythm or rate, a slow heartbeat, or severe heart disease.
- If any of your family members (parents, grandparents, brothers, or sisters) have died suddenly due to a heart problem or were born with heart problems.
- If your doctor has told you that you have high or low levels of electrolytes like potassium or magnesium in your blood.

Can I take Trioday Tablet during pregnancy?

Women should not get pregnant during treatment with Trioday Tablet and for 12 weeks after stopping it. Your doctor may require a pregnancy test before you start treatment. If you could become pregnant, you must use a reliable barrier method of contraception (like condoms) along with other methods (like oral or hormonal contraceptives). The medicine can stay in your blood for some time after stopping, so continue contraception for 12 weeks after your last dose.
Breast Feeding

Can I take Trioday Tablet while breast-feeding?

You should not breastfeed your baby if you are taking Trioday Tablet. Breast-feeding is not recommended for women living with HIV because the infection can be passed on to the baby through breast milk. If you are breastfeeding or considering it, discuss it with your doctor as soon as possible.
Driving
