For the post-operative care of the eyes (cataract).
Contraindications of Tojawa Eye Drops 5ml
If you are allergic to Tobramycin or Dexamethasone.
If you are suffering from any viral infection involving the eyes (herpes infection, HIV, varicella zooster).
If you are suffering from tuberculosis or leprosy.
If you have a fungal infection of the eyes.

Tojawa Eye Drop are composed of Tobramycin (antibiotic) and Dexamethasone (steroid) as the active ingredients. Tobramycin prevents and controls any bacterial infection in your eyes while dexamethasone reduces discomfort by relieving the symptoms like redness, swelling, pain and irritation which may happen after an eye operation....
Directions for Use of Tojawa Eye Drops 5ml
- Use Tojawa Eye Drop as instructed by your doctor.
- Follow directions carefully & do not miss doses.
- Wash your hands thoroughly before and after applying.
- Avoid touching your eyes with the dropper and it must be kept clean.
- Wipe any excess liquid from your face with a tissue.
- Use the exact number of drops recommended.
- Close your eyes for 2-3 minutes and do not blink or squeeze.

Interactions with other medicines
- Since Tojawa Eye Drop is to be used externally on the eyes, it is less likely to interact with other medicines. However, you should always consult your doctor if you are taking other medicines for treating other health conditions....
- Compromised healing effects are seen when this medicine is used with some pain and swelling relieving eye drops (NSAID's).

Q: Can Tojawa Eye Drop cause blindness?
A: Tojawa Eye Drop will not cause blindness if it is used on a doctor's advice and in the proper way. However, if it is used for a wrong condition of the eye which has not been advised by your doctor, it may lead to blindness.
Q: Can I use Tojawa Eye Drop while wearing my contact lenses?
A: Do not use this medicine while you are wearing contact lenses. You may be asked to discontinue the use of lenses for few days after an eye operation. If your doctor has allowed you to use lenses, remove contact lenses prior to the instillation of Tojawa Eye Drop and wait at least 15 minutes or more before reinsertion. A component of this eye drop (Benzalkonium chloride) is known to discolour soft contact lenses.
Q: Can I use Tojawa Eye Drop for an ear infection?
A: No, Tojawa Eye Drop are meant to be used as an eye drop. Please consult your doctor for the problem in your ears.
Q: I have been prescribed 3 eye drops by my doctor. Can I use them all together?
A: If you have been prescribed multiple eye drops or ointments, make sure you give a gap of 15 to 20 minutes between the application/instillation of each.
