Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

^

Q: Can I take Thioril tablets if I have not undergone other treatments for schizophrenia?

A: No, Thioril tablets are not the first medicines used in people with schizophrenia. If at least two sets of medications have failed to show results, Thioril tablets are used. Also, these tablets have severe side effects, so the risk of using these medications is high. Hence, doctors prescribe them only in emergencies. Do not use them without consulting your doctor.

Q: Is it possible for me to gain weight after using Thioril tablets?

A: Yes, Thioril tablets are associated with weight gain and appetite changes, similar to other antipsychotic medications. However, this side effect may not be seen in every user. If you notice any fluctuations in your weight, try exercising regularly and maintaining a healthy diet.

Q: Are Thioril tablets habit-forming?

A: No, like most antipsychotic medications, Thioril tablets are not habit-forming. They do not cause physical or cognitive dependency in users. However, do not suddenly stop using them as this can result in withdrawal symptoms like tremors, shaking, profuse sweating, etc.
