Managing depression during pregnancy may be a challenge. Combined advice of a mental health clinician, obstetrician, primary health care provider and paediatrician should be taken. It is advised not to consume this medicine during pregnancy as it might pose a risk to the unborn baby. Studies on animal subjects have exhibited adverse effects on the foetus. Suprabenz Plus 5mg Tablets should be given only if the benefits are more than the risk to the foetus.

This medicine may be avoided during breastfeeding unless very necessary. The potential risks and benefits should be discussed with your doctor before taking the medicine. A part of the medicine may be absorbed and secreted in the breast milk, and pass on to the baby. This may prove harmful for the infant.

This medicine is not recommended to be consumed immediately before driving as it is a sedative. Consuming the medicine even a couple of hours before driving can alter the judgement and cause accidents.

It is firmly recommended to not consume alcohol during the course of this medicine due to the increased risk of serious adverse effects such as sleepiness or drowsiness.

Suprabenz Plus 5mg tablet will regulate your mood and hence your appetite. It does not have a direct role in accumulating fats. Regular exercise and a healthy diet will keep your weight in check.

It may take a couple of weeks before your symptoms get better. It is advised not to stop this medicine without consulting your doctor as it may lead to unpleasant side effects.
