Interactions with other medicines

• Seek medical advice if you are on antibiotics (medicines that fight infection), such as Tetracycline or Ciprofloxacin. Taking Renoalfa Tablet 10'S when you are on antibiotics can increase your calcium levels and cause side effects, such as diarrhoea, nausea etc.
• Seek medical advice if you are on antineoplastics (medicines that fight cancer), like Estramustine. Taking Renoalfa Tablet 10'S when you are on antineoplastics can affect the absorption of active ingredients.
• When you are on Renoalfa Tablet 10'S, your doctor might ask you to check your serum calcium levels regularly. If you find that your calcium levels are too high, your doctor might advise you to reduce your vitamin D intake and calcium supplements.

Interactions with food items

• Take Renoalfa Tablet 10'S with a low-protein diet; it helps better absorb the medicine. A high-protein diet can alter the absorption and efficacy of Renoalfa Tablet 10'S.
• A low protein diet is rich in fresh vegetables, fruits, grains such as rice and barley, and healthy fats such as coconut oil and avocados. On the contrary, a high-protein diet is a diet rich in meat and plant-based proteins, such as nuts, sprouts, and lentils.
