R10A Capsule is a prescription medication. The primary use of the R10A Capsule is to reduce the risk of heart attack (myocardial infarction), stroke or other blood vessel-related disorders. It is als

o used to reduce cholesterol levels in the body. Heart attack or stroke occurs when a blood clot blocks the flow of blood to the heart. This risk of artery blockage increases with high fat and cholesterol levels in the body. The two main active components of this medication are rosuvastatin and aspirin. It is a combination of cholesterol-lowering and blood-thinning medicines. The mode of action of R10A Capsules is to lower the bad cholesterol levels and prevent the formation of blood clots in the body. This causes the removal of any plaques or blockages present in the blood vessels. There are a few common side effects of the R10A Capsule, such as headache, weakness, stomach pain, etc. Most of them do not require any medical attention. However, it is best to consult the doctor in case of persisting or worsening symptoms. Try to follow your doctor’s directions for using the R10A Capsule. Contraindications of R10a 10/75 Mg Capsule 10

Do not take R10A Capsules, or use caution:
If you are allergic to any of the active or inactive ingredients of R10A Capsule.
If you have severe kidney impairment, the dose should be reduced.
If you have active liver disease.
If you are women who are pregnant, may become pregnant, or currently breastfeeding.
If you have any skeletal muscle disorders (e.g., myopathy and rhabdomyolysis), the dose should be monitored.
If you have any severe bleeding disorder, this medicine increases the risk of bleeding.
If you want to use this medicine in children younger than the age of 10 without consulting the doctor.

Breast Feeding

Can I take the R10A Capsule while breastfeeding?

No. R10A Capsules are not recommended for use if you are nursing. This medicine has salicylates in aspirin, which pass through the breast milk and can cause rashes, platelet abnormalities and severe bleeding in breastfed infants. Please consult your doctor before starting the R10A Capsule.

Driving

Can I drive if I have taken the R10A Capsule?

Do not drive or operate machinery if you experience dizziness or drowsiness while using the R10A Capsule. This medicine can also sometimes cause blurry vision. Hence, avoid driving in such situations.

Alcohol

Can I consume alcohol with the R10A Capsule?

No. It is unsafe to consume alcohol with RA10 Capsule since it may worsen the side effects like dizziness and increased blood pressure. It can also increase the bleeding in the stomach when used with the R10A Capsule.

You have a severe kidney or liver illness.
You are using other medicines to lower cholesterol levels.
You are above the age of 65, and the dose of this medicine should be checked.
You are diagnosed with hypothyroidism or low thyroid hormone levels.

Swallow R10A Capsule as a whole with a glass of water. Do not break or chew it.
For optimal pharmacological effects, take R10A Capsule at the same time every day.
Do not suddenly stop taking the R10A Capsule, as it can cause adverse effects.

Interactions with other medicines

Try to avoid using cyclosporine with the R10A Capsule, as it increases the levels of R10A in the blood serum and increases side effects like headache, fatigue, etc.
Inform your doctor if you are using R10A Capsules with gemfibrozil, as they alter the effectiveness of each other. The dose should be reduced or symptoms should be observed.
