Quadri Meningo is a vaccine that helps protect against meningococcal meningitis, a serious infection of the membranes covering the brain and spinal cord. It protects against four types (serogroups) of the bacteria that can cause this infection: A, C, W135, and Y.
Uses
Contraindications
- If you have a known allergy or sensitivity to any of the ingredients in the Quadri Meningo vaccine.
- If you have shown signs of an allergic reaction after receiving a previous dose of the Quadri Meningo vaccine.
Side effects
- Redness at the injection site.
- Slight hardening or swelling at the injection site.
- Tenderness or pain at the injection site.
- Headache
- Tiredness (fatigue)
- Fever
- Allergic reactions, including severe reactions (anaphylactoid reactions)
- Sleepiness (somnolence)
