Pulsid 10 MG Description

Pulsid Tablet is an anti-emetic medication. It contains cisapride as the active substance. Pulsid Tablet is used in the treatment of heartburn due to gastro-oesophageal reflux disease (GERD) in adult

s. It works by increasing the rate at which your oesophagus, stomach and intestines move during digestion. It also increases the rate at which your stomach empties into your intestines. Take this medicine in the exact dose and duration as prescribed by your doctor. Do not take more than the recommended dose. Pulsid Tablet may cause serious irregular heartbeats, which may be fatal. Tell your doctor if you have a family history of heart problems or if you have/had irregular heartbeats, heart disease, severe dehydration, vomiting, eating disorders or kidney or lung failure. Before starting Pulsid Tablet, inform your doctor if you are pregnant/breastfeeding and about your complete medical history.

Pulsid Tablet is used to treat heartburn due to gastro-oesophageal reflux disease (GERD) in adults.

Contraindications of Pulsid 10 MG

If you are allergic to cisapride or any of the ingredients of Pulsid Tablet.
If you have bleeding or an obstruction in your stomach.
If you have any heart disease such as congestive heart failure, slow heart rate, heart rhythm disorder, a structural heart defect, heart block or other conduction disorders.
If you have a personal or family history of long QT syndrome.
If you have hardening of the arteries.
If you have severe dehydration, malnutrition or an eating disorder.
If you have kidney failure, severe lung problems or advanced cancer.

Pregnancy

Can I take Pulsid 10mg Tablets during pregnancy?

Tell your doctor if you are pregnant or plan to become pregnant while using this medication.

Can I take Pulsid 10mg Tablets while breastfeeding?

Pulsid Tablet passes into human breast milk. This medicine should only be used in breastfeeding women if recommended by the doctor.

Driving

Can I drive if I have consumed Pulsid 10mg Tablets?

Pulsid Tablet increases the movement of your esophagus, stomach and intestines during digestion.
