Pantakind tablet is an acid-reducing medicine that is used to treat acid-related diseases of the stomach and intestine like ulcers, gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD), and Zollinger-Ellison syndrome. Gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD) occurs when the stomach acid rises into the food pipe causing inflammation and a burning sensation. Zollinger-Ellison syndrome is a condition where the stomach makes extremely high amounts of acid. Pantakind tablet contains pantoprazole as the active substance that works by reducing the amount of acid made by the stomach. Take this medicine exactly as recommended by your doctor. Do not stop taking this medicine on your own. Pantakind tablet should be taken preferably in the morning before meals.
