Contraindications
- If you are allergic to pantoprazole or any other ingredient of Pantakind tablet.
- If you are allergic to any substituted benzimidazoles like omeprazole.

- You have a stomach tumour.
- You develop symptoms like fever, decrease in urine amount, blood in urine, tiredness, nausea, swelling, rashes, bloated feeling after using this medicine.
- You have low levels of Vitamin B12 in your body.
- You develop diarrhoea after using this medicine that does not improve.
- You develop symptoms like tiredness, dizziness, fits/seizures after using Pantakind tablet for long periods.
- You take a medicine called digoxin for the treatment of heart failure or diuretics (furosemide, chlorthalidone) for the treatment of high blood pressure.
Directions for Use
- Take this medicine as a whole with sufficient water.
- Always take this medicine exactly as prescribed by your doctor.
- Do not consume more than the prescribed dose.

Interactions with other medicines
- Some medicines can affect the way Pantakind tablet works, or Pantakind tablet itself can reduce the effectiveness of other medicines taken at the same time.
- Inform the doctor about all medicines, supplements, or herbals you are currently taking or might take to avoid possible interaction.
- Pantakind tablets should not be used together with medicines used for treating HIV/AIDS (atazanavir, nelfinavir).
- Particular care should be taken when taking medicines for treating blood clots (warfarin, clopidogrel), fungal infections (ketoconazole), bacterial infections (ampicillin), iron deficiency (iron salts), non-small cell lung cancer (erlotinib), immune system suppression (mycophenolate mofetil), rheumatoid arthritis (methotrexate).
