Medical Description

It is used to relieve the symptoms of allergic rhinitis, including a runny or stuffed nose, airway blockage, sneezing, itching, watery eyes, and other allergic symptoms. The medication works by blocking the release of chemicals responsible for producing allergy symptoms in the body.

It is recommended to take Montair-LC at bedtime to minimize the risk of dizziness. Individuals with kidney problems or those on dialysis should not take Montair-LC. Before starting treatment with Montair-LC, it is important to discuss all medications, supplements, and existing health conditions with your doctor.

Common side effects of this tablet include nausea, diarrhea, vomiting, dry mouth, headache, skin rash, flu-like symptoms, and fatigue. The majority of these are temporary and usually resolve on their own over time. If you are concerned about any of these side effects, contact your doctor immediately. Montelukast and levocetirizine are active ingredients of Telekast L, Montina L, Odimont Lc, Montek LC tablet and Monticope tablets.
