Other General Warnings
- You have a pre-existing heart condition, prior heart failure, or previous radiation therapy to the chest.
- You have previously received chemotherapy drugs belonging to the anthracycline family (such as doxorubicin or epirubicin).
- You have a history of liver disease or impaired hepatic function.
- You develop a high fever, persistent cough, or signs of an active infection.
- You notice severe swelling in your feet or legs, shortness of breath, or sudden weight gain.
- You are receiving treatment for MS, as your doctor will need to monitor your LVEF before each dose and track your cumulative lifetime dose.
- You have received a cumulative lifetime mitoxantrone dose, as further treatment may increase the risk of cardiotoxicity.
