Minonil Er 45 MG Description
Minonil ER 45mg Tablet contains minocycline as the main ingredient. This medicine is used to treat bacterial infections of the respiratory system, eye, skin, urinary tract, and genital system. It is also used to treat acne. Minocycline inhibits the production of bacterial proteins, which further halts the replication process. This medicine is only available on a doctor's prescription and should be taken at a dose and for a duration prescribed by the doctor. This medicine is not recommended during pregnancy and breastfeeding. It is also not recommended in babies and children below 6 years. Before taking this medicine, inform your doctor if you are allergic to any ingredients or if you have bleeding disorders or other health problems. Side effects of these tablets include watery diarrhoea, blurred vision, joint pain, dizziness, and bloody stools. If these effects persist or worsen, seek medical help immediately....

Interactions with other medicines
- Minocycline can alter the effects of blood-thinning medicines
- Concomitant use of antacids containing calcium, magnesium, or aluminium or iron-containing medicines alters absorption of minocycline
- Concomitant use of methoxyflurane increases toxicity in the kidneys
- Minocycline reduces the effectiveness of oral contraceptives
- Concomitant use of ergot medications causes ergotism
