Mifegest Kit 200 MG Description

Mifegest Kit Tablet is a combination of two chemicals that are used for medical abortion (terminating a pregnancy). Mifegest Kit belongs to a group of medicines named ‘Abortifacient’ used for the t

ermination of the pregnancy before 63 days after the first day of the last menstrual period. Mifegest Kit additionally works in the second trimester of the pregnancy too. There are two medicines in the Mifegest Kit: Mifepristone and Misoprostol. Anti-hormone (anti-progestogen) mifepristone prevents the body from producing progesterone hormone, which women need to continue their pregnancy. Misoprostol is a prostaglandin that increases uterine contractions and dilates the cervix, thus ending the pregnancy. Mifegest Kit terminates a pregnancy and must be used for medical abortion one after another.
