Macarbi Ch Tablet is an antihypertensive medication that is used to treat high blood pressure. It contains azilsartan and chlorthalidone as its active ingredient. It is used to treat high blood press

Macarbi Ch Tablet works by relaxing the blood vessels and reducing the fluid load in the body by increasing urinary output. You should take Macarbi Ch Tablet at a fixed time every day to gain optimal therapeutic benefits. For the treatment of hypertension (high blood pressure), when blood pressure cannot be controlled by azilsartan or chlorthalidone alone.

Contraindications of Macarbi Ch Tablet 10

If you are allergic to azilsartan, chlorthalidone or any of the ingredients of Macarbi Ch Tablet.
If you have electrolyte imbalance in the body.
If you have liver or kidney problems.
If you have any kind of heart problem.
If you are suffering from diarrhoea and vomiting.
If you have gout.
If you are pregnant or breastfeeding women.

Mode of Action of Macarbi Ch Tablet 10

How Does It Work?

A hormone called angiotensin is responsible for the narrowing of blood vessels and rise in blood pressure. Azilsartan lowers blood pressure by blocking the action of angiotensin.
Chlorthalidone acts by increasing the loss of water and salt from the body, thus resulting in increased production of urine, thereby lowering the blood pressure.

Macarbi Ch Tablet should be consumed as a whole with a sufficient amount of water with or without food.
