Lasix 40 MG Description
Lasix tablet contains furosemide, a diuretic medicine. It is used for the treatment of swelling caused by heart, lung, liver, or kidney disease. It also treats high blood pressure. Lasix reduces sodium, chloride, and water absorption in the kidneys, promoting their excretion in urine. This process reduces body swelling and increases urination.
Oedema is a condition in which there is an excess of fluid in your body's tissues. It usually affects the feet, ankles, and legs, but it can affect the entire body. Uses of Lasix 40 MG
Lasix tablet is used for the treatment of swelling over the body due to heart disease, lung disease, liver disease or kidney disease. It is also used for the treatment of high blood pressure.
Contraindications of Lasix 40 MG
- If you are allergic to this medicine or any of the other ingredients of the Lasix tablet.
- If you have an underlying medical condition.
- If you are allergic to sulfonamide medicine.
- If you have low blood volume and dehydration.
- If your doctor tells you that you have low sodium and low potassium level in your blood.
- If the patient has a coma or is in the initial stage of coma.
