Uses
- This medicine may be used for the following clinical conditions
- Epilepsy- Patients with 13 years and above used either monotherapy or as adjuvant therapy for treating seizures associated with Lennox- Gastaout Syndrome( LGS- Characeterized by multiple seizures, regression, mental retardation and abnormal impulses from the nerves in the brain.
- Patients with 2 years to 12 years-either used as monotherapy or as adjuvant therapy for treating seizures, and seizures associated with Lennox Gastaout Syndrome.
- Bipolar disorder- 18 years and above
- Helps in prevention of depressive episodes with bipolar 1 disorder.
