ntiallergic medicine whereas dextromethorphan is a cough suppressant. You should avoid taking the Klorphan DX syrup along with medicines used to treat your psychiatric illness, as it may worsen your condition. It should be taken as directed by the doctor and in doses and duration as prescribed.
