- Kimitrip Ds tablet is used in the treatment of:
- Depression
- Anxiety
- Insomnia
- Neuropathic pain
Contraindications
- You are allergic or hypersensitive to Amitriptyline and Chlordiazepoxide.
- You have taken monoamine oxidase inhibitors (MAOIs) like selegiline in the past 14 days.

- You notice symptoms like excessive aggressiveness, restlessness, and panic attacks.
- You have diabetes. Kimitrip Ds tablets have to be used with caution as it can further increase blood sugar levels.
Directions for Use
- Kimitrip Ds tablets should be consumed as advised by the doctor. Do not exceed the dosage of Kimitrip tablets, even if you cannot notice the effects of this medicine. This medicine is usually prescribed for a longer duration and should be taken regularly.
- Kimitrip tablets can be taken with or without food. Take the tablet with your meal in case you notice any stomach issues after taking the tablet.
- Take the Kimitrip tablets at the same time every day to reach a stable dose in the body.
- The tablets should be taken as a whole with a glass of water. Do not break or chew the tablets for use.

Interactions with other medicines
- Chloramphenicol (antibiotic), Acyclovir (antiviral) - it can decrease the metabolism of the tablet.
- Chlorpromazine (antipsychotic) - it can increase orthostatic hypotension.
- Flumazenil (an antidote for benzodiazepine overdose) - it can increase the concentration of Amipox H tablets in the body.
- Aceclofenac (painkiller)- it can increase the risk of bleeding.
- Alprazolam (anti-anxiety) - it can increase the depressive action on the nervous system.
- Codeine (in cough syrups and painkillers) - it can increase the severity of side effects.
Interactions with food items
- Kimitrip tablet is not known to interact with any particular food item.
