Hytrol Am capsule is a prescription medicine used for the treatment of high blood pressure. It is a fixed-dose combination of enalapril and amlodipine that works together to control blood pressure more effectively. By helping keep your blood pressure within the normal range, this medicine reduces the risk of heart attack, stroke, and kidney-related complications. Take Hytrol Am capsule exactly as prescribed by your doctor and do not stop taking it without medical advice, even if you feel well.
Hytrol Am capsule works by relaxing and widening the blood vessels, allowing blood to flow more easily. Amlodipine helps prevent blood vessel narrowing by relaxing the vessel walls, while enalapril reduces the formation of substances that raise blood pressure. Together, they lower the workload on your heart and help maintain steady blood pressure control over time.
Take Hytrol Am capsule as advised by your doctor, preferably at the same time every day. Swallow the capsule whole with a glass of water, with or without food. Do not crush, chew, or break.
