Genis Tablet is used to prevent nausea and vomiting during pregnancy. It is a combination medicine containing doxylamine and pyridoxine. Doxylamine is an antihistaminic and it blocks the natural subs
tances in the body responsible for nausea and vomiting. Pyridoxine is a vitamin that also contributes to control nausea and vomiting and are needed during pregnancy. Genis Tablet should be taken as directed by the doctor and in doses and duration as prescribed. Excessive sleepiness, drowsiness, rashes and itching are common side effects of Genis Tablet.
