How Does It Work?
- Gaba Gel contains gabapentin and lidocaine as active substances.
- Gabapentin binds to certain proteins in the body and causes a reduction in pain.
- Lidocaine is a topical anaesthetic that prevents pain by blocking pain signals at the nerve endings in the skin.

- However, consult your doctor if you are taking other medicines for treating other health conditions.
- Particular care should be taken if you are using medicines to treat abnormal/irregular heart rhythm (tocainide, mexiletine).
- The use of Gaba Gel with medicines for treating acid indigestion (cimetidine), high blood pressure (propranolol), in high doses or for a long period of time may increase the level of Gaba Gel in the body.
- Gaba Gel when used together with other local anaesthetics may increase the risk of toxicity.
