Uses of Esorid 20 MG

Esorid Tablet is used to treat heartburn due to gastro-oesophageal reflux disease (GERD) in adults.

Contraindications of Esorid 20 MG

  • If you are allergic to cisapride or any of the ingredients of Esorid Tablet.
  • If you have bleeding or an obstruction in your stomach.
  • If you have any heart disease such as congestive heart failure, slow heart rate, heart rhythm disorder, a structural heart defect, heart block or other conduction disorders.
  • If you have a personal or family history of long QT syndrome.
  • If you have hardening of the arteries.
  • If you have severe dehydration, malnutrition or an eating disorder.
  • If you have kidney failure, severe lung problems or advanced cancer.

Pregnancy

  • Esorid Tablet increases the movement of your esophagus, stomach and intestines during digestion.
  • It also increases the rate at which your stomach empties into your intestines and increases the lower esophageal sphincter tone.

  • Take Esorid Tablet as a whole with sufficient water.
  • Always take this medicine exactly as prescribed by your doctor.
