Eprin 150 MG Description

Eprin Tablet is an antiplatelet medicine (blood thinner). It contains aspirin as its active ingredient. It is used to prevent the formation of blood clots. This helps reduce the risk of heart attacks

, stroke and angina due to blood clots. Blood clots are one of the factors that can cause heart attacks, stroke and other critical health conditions. Blood clots can limit or block the passage of blood to essential organs, resulting in a heart attack or stroke. It works by slowing down blood clotting and hence prevents the formation of blood clots within blood vessels. Before initiating treatment with the Eprin Tablet inform your doctor about your complete medical and medication history. The treating doctor will decide the dose and duration of the treatment.   • Concomitant use of methotrexate (used to treat certain types of cancer) with aspirin should be avoided.

  • Other anticoagulants or antiplatelet agents must be used cautiously with aspirin due to the risk of bleeding.
  • Eprin increases the blood-glucose-lowering effect of certain antidiabetics. Hence, it must be used cautiously in people receive antidiabetic medicines.
