Epilive ER 1gm Tablet contains Levetiracetam as the main ingredient. This medicine is used to treat patients with epilepsy in adults and children and adolescents above 12 years. Levetiracetam works b
y attaching to certain sites in the brain which stops the spread of electrical signals that cause seizures. Epilive tablets s supposed to be taken with food. The dose and duration of treatment is decided by the doctor based on patient's age. You should not consume less or more than recommended amount of Epilive ER tablet as it can cause serious side effects. This tablets is not recommended if you are allergic to any ingredients of the tablet.

Interactions with other medicines
- It has been observed that taking levetiracetam and methotrexate together reduces methotrexate excretion from the body
- Concomitant use of osmotic laxative macrogol reduces the effectiveness of levetiracetam

Dosage
Overdose

Missed a Dose
Take Epilive ER tablet as soon as you remember if you miss a dose. However, if your next dose is approaching, skip the missing dose and return to your regular schedule. Do not take two doses.
