Uses of Dilona 25 MG/ML
- Dilona 25mg Ampoule Of 3ml Injection is used for relieving extreme and serious painful conditions like kidney stones, rheumatoid arthritis, and osteoarthritis, gout, accidents, and fractures.
- It is also used to treat or prevent post-operative pain and pain after surgery in hospitals.
Contraindications of Dilona 25 MG/ML
- If you are allergic to Diclofenac or any of the ingredients of Dilona 25mg Ampoule Of 3ml Injection.
- If you have active liver or kidney failure problem.
- If you have a history of a blood clotting disorder or you tend to bleed easily.
- If you had or have an active stomach or intestinal ulcer or bleeding problems.
- If you have a history of stomach ulcers or bleeding due to the use of painkillers.
- If you recently had surgery or operation, which has associated risk of bleeding.
- If you are pregnant, especially in the last trimester, you have a history of an asthma attack, or you have dehydration.
- If you are using medicine to stop blood clottings like Heparin, or other pain killers like Ibuprofen, Celecoxib, etc.
- If you have experienced an episode of allergic reaction upon painkiller use like asthma, skin rashes, swelling & nasal congestion.
- If you are suffering from brain and heart diseases like heart attack, stroke, heart failure, problems with blood circulation, or any circulatory disease.
- This medicine is not recommended for children below the age of 14.

- You have a history of stomach or bowel disorders like gastrointestinal bleeding or Crohn's disease.
- You are an elderly patient, or with low body weight, your doctor may reduce your dose of this medicine.
- You have liver disease, it may get exacerbated. Therefore, close monitoring of liver function is required.
- You have any heart problems like high blood pressure, high cholesterol, or diabetes, or you are an active smoker.
- You develop stomach or intestinal bleeding problems during the treatment, the risk is more if you are using aspirin.

- This medicine will be given to you in a hospital by your doctor or nurse as an injection.
- Please do not self-inject this medicine.
Storage and disposal of Dilona 25 MG/ML
- Store the medicine below 30°C in a cool and dry place away from light.
- Keep it out of the reach of children and pets.
- Any unused portion should not be stored and should be discarded properly.
Dosage of Dilona 25 MG/ML
Overdose
- Your doctor or nurse will give this injection to you in the hospital or clinic. Therefore, it is less likely to provide you with an overdose of this medicine.
- However, if you experience headache, nausea, vomiting, stomach pain, diarrhoea, unconsciousness, excitation, dizziness, drowsiness, fits, difficulty in breathing, and depression right after taking this injection, please inform your doctor immediately....
- A significant overdose of this injection can lead to liver damage and kidney failure.

Interactions with other medicines
- Concomitant use of Diclofenac with medicines like water pills and other blood pressure medicines like Furosemide, Propranolol, Atenolol, and Telmisartan can decrease the blood pressure lowering effects and thus should be cautiously used, especially in elderly patients....
- Water pills like chlorothiazide, chlorthalidone and immunosuppressants like Tacrolimus and Ciclosporin may increase the potassium level if taken along with Dilona 25mg Ampoule Of 3ml Injection.
- Concomitant use of anticoagulants like Warfarin and medicines to treat mental conditions like Escitalopram and Fluoxetine can increase the risk of bleeding and ulcers.
- Using antidiabetics along with this medicine can affect your blood sugar level. The doctor may ask you to monitor blood sugar levels regularly.
- Medicines used to modify immune responses like Methotrexate, Ciclosporin, and Tacrolimus, if taken along with this medicine, can cause kidney problems.
- Antibiotics like ciprofloxacin, norfloxacin can cause fits (you have a history of fits or seizures) if taken along with this medicine.
- Diclofenac should not be used for 10-12 days after the use of Mifepristone, as it can reduce the effect of this medicine.
- Other medicines like Phenytoin for fits, Sulfinpyrazone and Voriconazole, Colestipol, Cholestyramine, Lithium used to treat mental conditions and Digoxin used to treat heart failure should be used cautiously....
