Medical Description
Die A tablet is used to help relieve pain and swelling caused by conditions like osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, and ankylosing spondylitis. It contains aceclofenac and diacerein as active ingredients. Aceclofenac works by blocking the chemicals that cause inflammation and pain, allowing you to move more easily without discomfort. Diacerein helps protect your joints by slowing down the damage to cartilage, improving joint health over time.
Do not take Die A tablet if you are allergic to its ingredients or have certain health problems like liver or kidney disease, active stomach ulcers, bleeding disorders, or serious heart conditions. It should also be avoided if you have had allergic reactions to other painkillers or if you are pregnant, especially in the last three months, or breastfeeding. Unless your doctor says it’s safe.
Take Die A tablet exactly as your doctor tells you, preferably with or after meals to avoid stomach upset. Swallow the tablet whole with water, and try to take it at the same time each day. Store the medicine in a cool, dry place away from sunlight and out of reach of children. If you miss a dose, take it as soon as you remember, but don’t double up on doses.
Tell your doctor about all other medicines you take because some can interact with Die A tablet and increase risks like stomach bleeding or kidney problems. Avoid alcohol as it can raise the chance of liver damage. Side effects may include dizziness, stomach pain, nausea, or rash. If you feel unwell or notice signs such as yellowing of the skin or black stools, contact your doctor immediately. Also, don’t drive or operate machines if you feel dizzy or drowsy after taking this medicine.

Mode of Action
How Does It Work?
- Aceclofenac helps reduce pain and swelling by blocking some chemicals in your body that cause inflammation and discomfort. This makes it easier for you to feel less pain and move more comfortably.
- Diacerein works by reducing certain substances in the body that cause inflammation and cartilage breakdown, especially in joints affected by osteoarthritis. It helps protect the cartilage and slows down the damage, which can relieve pain and improve joint movement over time.
Interactions
Interactions with other medicines
- Be careful if you are taking water pills (like loop or thiazide diuretics) or heart medicines such as digoxin or digitoxin at the same time, because it may increase the risk of heart rhythm problems.
- Avoid using Die A tablet with other NSAIDs, aspirin, steroids, blood thinners, or certain antidepressants to reduce the risk of stomach bleeding.
- Die A tablet may reduce the effectiveness of blood pressure medications and diuretics; therefore, it is essential to monitor kidney function and drug levels.
- Combining with heart medicines (like digoxin or lithium), methotrexate, certain antibiotics, HIV medications, or diabetes/organ transplant drugs requires close medical supervision due to increased side effects or risks.
- Do not take Die A tablet within 8–12 days after mifepristone use.
