Deriphyllin Strip Of 30 Tablets
Description
Deriphyllin tablet is a medication used to help individuals with breathing problems, such as asthma, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), and bronchitis. It contains two main ingredients called etofylline and theophylline. These work together to relax the muscles in the airways and reduce swelling in the lungs. This helps make breathing easier and can relieve chest tightness or wheezing.
You should take Deriphyllin exactly as your doctor has prescribed. Swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water. Do not chew or crush it. It’s essential not to exceed the recommended dose, even if your symptoms worsen. Also, don’t stop taking the medicine without talking to your doctor, as doing so could make your condition harder to manage.
If you are allergic to etofylline, theophylline, or any other ingredients in the tablet, you should not take Deriphyllin. Some people may also experience side effects, such as nausea, headache, or stomach upset. Always notify your doctor if you experience any unusual symptoms after starting the medicine, so they can help manage any discomfort.
Before starting this medicine, inform your doctor if you are pregnant, planning a pregnancy, or breastfeeding. Additionally, please share your complete medical history, particularly if you have any existing liver, heart, or kidney issues. It’s very important to mention all other medicines or supplements you are taking, as they may affect how Deriphyllin works in your body.
There are other similar medicines, such as Agrophyllin tablets, that also contain the same active ingredients. However, your doctor will choose the one that is best suited for your condition. This medicine is not recommended for children under 6 years of age unless specifically advised to do so by a doctor. Always follow medical guidance carefully to ensure safe and effective treatment.
