- Clonapax 0.5 mg tablet is used in the treatment of :
- Epilepsy (fits)
- Seizure Disorders
- Panic Disorder (Occurrence of unexpected panic attacks)
- Lennox-Gastaut Syndrome (type of epilepsy that causes convulsions)
- Restless Leg Syndrome
Contraindications
- Clonapax 0.5 mg tablet may be contraindicated in the following patients:
- In patients with acute narrow-angle glaucoma (a condition of the eye)
- In patients with a history of kidney disease
- In patients with a history of lung disease
Side effects
- Clonapax 0.5 mg tablet may have the below-mentioned side effects:
- Drowsiness
- Dizziness
- Unsteadiness
- Problems with coordination
- Difficulty in thinking or remembering

Directions for Use
- Consume Clonapax 0.5 mg tablets orally.
- It is usually consumed one to three times a day with or without food.

- Carbamazepine
- Anticoagulants
- Cetirizine
- Codeine
- Opiate agonists
- Atenolol
- Antipsychotics
- Clonapax may cause an interaction if consumed with any of the medicines mentioned above. The interaction between these two medicines can cause an adverse effect on the body. Additionally, in some cases, these medicines interact with each other decreasing the effectiveness of either.
