Apnicaf oral solution is used for short-term treatment of apnea of prematurity. Its active ingredient is caffeine citrate.

Contraindications

If you are allergic to any ingredient of this medicine, do not use it. The baby's doctor should know about seizures, heart disease, kidney disease, liver disease, or previous theophylline treatment.

Missed a Dose

If the baby missed any dose of medicine, contact the baby's doctor for advice. If it is time for the next dose, then skip the missed dose and continue with the regular dose schedule. Do not take a double dose of medicine to compensate for the missed one.
