Mode of Action

How Does It Work?

Anzilum 0.25 mg tablets have muscle relaxant, anxiolytic, antidepressant, anticonvulsant, and sleep-altering properties. This medicine links to Î3 aminobutyric acid-specific sites all across the central nervous system (CNS), causing GABA's inactivation on neuronal excitability to be increased. Stabilisation and hyperpolarisation come from higher neuron permeability towards chloride ions. Hyperpolarisation (a less sensitive state) and stability ensue from this change of chloride ions.
