Medical Description
The Amlokind AT tablet is a medication prescribed to treat hypertension (high blood pressure) and angina pectoris (chest pain caused by a lack of oxygen supply to the heart). This medication contains two active ingredients: atenolol and amlodipine. These ingredients work together to lower blood pressure and heart rate, improve heart muscle function, reduce vessel pressure, and enhance heart efficiency.
The following tablets contain a combination of atenolol and amlodipine as active substances: Stamlo Beta 50, Amlopres AT 50, Amodep AT, Amlovas AT 50 and Amlopres AT 50.
Take Amlokind AT tablet in the dose and duration recommended by your doctor. The Amlokind AT tablet can be taken with or without food. Do not take more than the prescribed dose. Do not stop taking this medicine on your own.
Amlokind AT tablet can cause side effects, such as swelling in various body parts, headache, dizziness, sleepiness, tiredness, rapid heartbeat, indigestion, constipation, muscle cramps, cold hands and feet, and slow heartbeat. If you experience these side effects, please consult your doctor immediately. If you are allergic to any of the components of this medicine, do not take it.
Before taking the Amlokind AT tablet, please inform your doctor if you are pregnant, planning to conceive, or breastfeeding. Also, ensure that your doctor knows your complete medical history and all other medications and supplements you are taking.

Amlokind AT tablet is a medication used to treat hypertension and angina pectoris.
Contraindications of AMLOKIND AT 50MG STRIP OF 10 TABLETS
- If you are allergic to this amlodipine, atenolol or any of the ingredients of Amlokind AT.
- If you have any heart disorder like heart failure problem, irregular heartbeat and heart blockage.
- If you have a hormone-secreting tumour in the adrenal gland (Pheochromocytoma).
- If you are suffering from metabolic acidosis, a condition when the body produces so much acid.
- If you have a blood circulation problem which affects the blood supply to different body parts.
- If you have low blood pressure and slow heart rate problems.
- If you have experienced shock due to a heart attack.

- Do not take a double dose if you have missed a dose, take the next dose as soon as you remember.

- If you are taking any other blood pressure-lowering medicine, antifungal medicines, or antibiotics with the Amlokind-AT tablet, you may experience an excess drop in blood pressure.
- Medicines used to modify the immune response such as cyclosporin and tacrolimus when taken along can give you side effects of former medicine, inform your doctor.
- Medicines used for irregular heartbeats, such as amiodarone and disopyramide, should be avoided if taken simultaneously with Amlokind-AT. If taken together, they can lead to a drop in blood pressure and a slow heartbeat....
