Alscab skin emulsion is a topical medicine used to treat scabies and head lice infestations. It contains two active ingredients: cetrimide, an antiseptic and cleansing agent, and gamma benzene hexachloride (lindane), an ectoparasiticide that kills parasites.

Quick Tips
- Wash all clothing, bed linens, and towels used in the past 48 hours in hot water at 60 degrees Celsius or higher and dry on high heat
- Seal non-washable items (stuffed toys, coats) in airtight plastic bags for at least two weeks
- Treat all close household contacts and sexual partners at the same time, even if they show no symptoms
- Keep fingernails trimmed short and clean to minimize scratching and secondary infections
- Avoid scratching as much as possible during and after treatment
