Vivo Tablet contains Lomefloxacin, an antibiotic used to treat bacterial infection of the throat, lungs, airway tract and urinary tract. Vivo Tablet works by stopping and killing the growth of bacter
ia that cause infection. It should not be used for children below 18 years of age. It should not be used to treat viral infection. Always use sunscreen while using this medicine. Inform your doctor about all the medicine you are currently taking, medical condition and also if you are pregnant or breastfeeding women. You may experience side effects like headache, diarrhoea, skin rash, redness, stomach pain. If these symptoms are unbearable contact your doctor or nearby hospital.

- Vivo Tablet should be taken as directed by your doctor. Swallow it whole with a glass of water.

Interactions with other medicines
- When Vivo Tablet is co-administered with medicine used to treat asthma like theophylline may alter the level of theophylline.
- Acid lowering medicine like antacids, sucralfate, cimetidine decreases the effect of Vivo Tablet when administered concomitantly.
- Vivo Tablet increases the effect of immunosuppressive medications such as cyclosporine when administered concomitantly.
- Effect of Vivo Tablet is increased when uric acid-lowering medicine such as probenecid is administered concomitantly.
- Vivo Tablet increases the effect of blood-thinning medicine such as warfarin when administered concomitantly.
- Discuss with your doctor about any other medicine, herbal preparations and supplements you are taking currently to avoid interactions.
