Virucid 3 % Description
Virucid Ointment is an antiviral medicine used to treat skin infections caused by the Herpes simplex virus like herpes labialis (commonly called cold sores). It contains acyclovir (aciclovir) as its
active ingredient. It is meant only for external application and should be applied exactly as recommended by your doctor. You may experience some application site reactions as side effects, but they normally fade away with time. Please report to your doctor if you notice the side effects persist or worsen. Virucid Ointment should not be used by patients below 12 years of age.
