Medical Description
Viagra Tablet is a prescription medicine used in men to treat erectile dysfunction. It contains sildenafil as the active ingredient, which works by improving blood flow to the penis during sexual stimulation.
This helps men achieve and maintain an erection for satisfactory sexual activity. Viagra is not meant for use in women or children under 18 years of age.
You should always take Viagra exactly as advised by your doctor, in the recommended dose and for the duration prescribed. High-fat meals delay absorption by 60 minutes and reduce peak levels by 29%.
Typically, it is taken about one hour before sexual activity. Do not take more than one tablet per day.
Before starting treatment with Viagra, it is extremely important to share your complete medical history with your doctor. This includes any heart, liver, kidney, or eye problems, as well as the use of medicines like nitrates, which can dangerously interact with Viagra, leading to life-threatening consequences.
Inform your doctor if you have high blood pressure, have had surgery, a stroke, heart rhythm abnormalities, or a heart attack in the past 6 months.
Viagra is generally well tolerated, but some men may experience side effects such as headache, flushing, dizziness, back pain, muscle pain, nausea, rash, blurred vision, indigestion, or nasal congestion. These effects are usually temporary, but if they persist or become troublesome, consult your doctor promptly.
Used correctly under medical guidance, Viagra can help improve erectile function and restore confidence in sexual performance. Always follow your doctor's instructions and avoid self-medicating to ensure safe and effective results.
