Mode of Action
How Does It Work?
- Tyrodin cream contains tranexamic acid, kojic acid, arbutin, magnesium, mulberry extract and Vitamin E as active substances.
- Tranexamic acid reduces the hyperpigmentation of the outer layer of skin cells and reverses melasma-related changes of the skin.
- Kojic acid decreases the production of a substance called melanin responsible for skin pigmentation.
- Arbutin prevents the action of a chemical called tyrosinase which is involved in the production of the skin pigmenting substance, melanin.
- Magnesium provides the essential mineral to the skin cells.
- Mulberry extract is an antioxidant that protects against the UVB and UVA rays of sunlight and prevents damage to skin cells after sunlight exposure.
- Vitamin E is an antioxidant that protects the cells from the damaging effects of substances called free radicals.
