Topsor S Lotion 30ml Description

Topsor S lotion combines two medicines: Clobetasol and Salicylic acid. Clobetasol is a steroid and is very effective in controlling inflammation by decreasing the strength of the immune reaction. Sal

icylic acid is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory medicine that increases the rate of sloughing of the epidermis so that new cell growth can take place. The combination of both medications is extremely effective in providing relief from redness and swelling of the skin. Topsor S lotion should be used for a duration and at a dose as prescribed by the doctor. Using the topical solution at more than the recommended dose or for a longer period can increase the severity of side effects like thinning and discolouration of the skin. You can apply the moisturizer if you experience dryness of the skin. This solution should be used two to three times a day to share satisfactory results. The most common side effects of Topsor S lotion are peeling of the skin, thinning of the epidermis of the skin, and an increase in severity of the symptoms of skin inflammation like redness and swelling. If you suffer from any disease related to the kidneys or liver, you should inform your doctor before using Topsor S lotion. Pregnant and breastfeeding females should refrain from using Topsor S lotion. Topsor S lotion can cause growth retardation in the baby if it is used during pregnancy. Diabetic people should use it with caution as the solution can increase blood sugar levels.

If you have kidney disease, Topsor S lotion can worsen the symptoms of kidney disease
If you have pre-existing liver disease. Liver function tests should be done on these people to assess the function of the liver
If you are a child who had viral infections like chickenpox or flu. These children can develop life-threatening complications after using Topsor S lotion
If you are undergoing any surgical procedure; the doctor should be informed about Topsor S lotion
