Temokem 100 Mg Injection 5

• Adult patients with newly diagnosed glioblastoma multiforme; used together with radiotherapy at first, then continued on its own.
• Pediatric (3 years and older), adolescent, and adult patients with malignant glioma that has come back or kept growing despite standard treatment.

• You have had an allergic reaction (such as urticaria, allergic reaction including anaphylaxis, toxic epidermal necrolysis, and Stevens-Johnson syndrome) to temozolomide or any other components of Temokem injection.
• You have had an allergic reaction to dacarbazine (another cancer medicine).

• Myelodysplastic syndrome and secondary malignancies, including myeloid leukemia
• Severe or long-lasting low blood cell counts
• Severe liver damage
• Pneumocystis pneumonia (a serious fungal lung infection)
• Serious opportunistic bacterial and viral infections.

• Fatigue, anorexia, dizziness, weakness and headache
• Confusion, convulsions and memory impairment
• Blurred vision
• Allergic reactions
• Abdominal pain, nausea, vomiting, constipation, diarrhea and inflammation of the inner lining of your mouth
• Low blood platelet count leading to increased risk of abnormal bleeding
• Joint pain
• Insomnia
• Coughing and shortness of breath
• Hair loss, dry skin, skin redness, itchy skin and rashes
• Change in taste perception

• Nausea, vomiting, constipation and diarrhea
• Headache, fatigue, fever and weakness
• Convulsions, dizziness, memory loss, insomnia, muscle weakness on one side of the body, and coordination issues
• Build-up of excess fluid in the arms, legs, ankles or feet
• Viral infections
• Tingling or numbness, excessive sleepiness, muscle weakness, loss of bladder control, problems with balance or coordination, difficulty speaking or understanding speech, seizures, difficulty walking and confusion
• Excess production of hormones by the adrenal glands
• Abdominal pain, anorexia and back pain
• Anxiety and depression
• Breast pain in women
• Upper respiratory tract infections, throat and sinus infections and coughing
• Rashes and itchy skin
• Urinary tract infections and increased urination

• Injection site side effects such as pain, irritation, itching, warmth, swelling, redness, small red or purple spots (petechiae), and bruising (hematoma)
• Toxic epidermal necrolysis and Stevens-Johnson syndrome
• Hypersensitivity reactions, including anaphylaxis
• Erythema multiforme
• Lung inflammation and scarring
• Diabetes insipidus

Other General Warnings

• You have kidney or liver problems.
• You are pregnant, think you might be pregnant, or are breastfeeding.
• You develop fever, chills, unusual bleeding or bruising, or signs of infection.
• You notice shortness of breath, cough, or breathing changes.

• Your doctor will decide the dosage and duration of Temokem injection based on your treatment plan.
• Temokem injection is administered as an intravenous (IV) infusion, after reconstitution with a suitable diluent.
• Temokem injection should only be administered by a healthcare professional in a hospital or clinical setting. Do not self-administer this medication.

• Temokem injection should be kept out of the sight and reach of children.
• Temokem injection should not be used after the expiry date.
• Store unopened medicines in a refrigerator at 2°C to 8°C.
• Do not freeze Temokem injection.
• Once diluted, your healthcare team will store and administer Temokem injection according to the recommended instructions.

• Do not dispose of unused medicine in household waste or wastewater. Hospital staff will dispose of it as a hazardous drug, in accordance with medical safety protocols.

• Keep records of all blood tests and check-up appointments safely. Your doctor will need these to monitor your blood counts, liver enzymes, and overall response to treatment with Temokem injection.
• Since Temokem injection can cause harm to an unborn baby, a pregnancy test may be performed in women of reproductive potential before starting treatment.
• Women of reproductive potential should use effective contraception during treatment with Temokem injection and for 6 months after the last dose.
• Male patients with pregnant partners or female partners of reproductive potential should use barrier contraception (such as condoms) during treatment with Temokem injection and for 3 months after the last dose.
• Male patients should not donate semen during treatment with Temokem injection and for 3 months after the last dose.
• Temokem injection may impair fertility in men of reproductive potential.
• People 70 and older have a higher chance of developing low blood cell counts when on this medicine.

Overdose

• Since Temokem injection is administered by healthcare professionals in a hospital setting, accidental overdose is uncommon.
• Overdose with Temokem injection can cause severe reduction in blood cell counts, fever, multi-organ failure, and risk of severe infections, and may lead to death.
• If an overdose occurs, your healthcare team will monitor your blood counts and provide supportive care to manage symptoms and blood cell counts.
