Tamcontin D Tablet is used in men for the treatment of benign prostate hyperplasia (BPH), a condition of the enlarged prostate gland in men. It is a combination of two medicines- tamsulosin and dutasteride. Tamcontin D Tablet helps in easing the symptoms of BPH like difficulty in passing urine, frequent urination, increased frequency of urination at night or inability to empty bladder. Contraindications of Tamcontin D Tablet
- If you are allergic to tamsulosin, dutasteride or any of the ingredient of Tamcontin D Tablet.
- If you have a liver disorder or liver function problem.
- If you experience giddiness or fall when you gradually get up from sitting position.
- Tamcontin D Tablet should not be used in women, children and adolescents

Can I take Tamcontin D Tablet during pregnancy?

- Pregnant women should not come in contact with a person who is being treated with this medicine or to this medicine by any means as it may affect the male fetus if it gets absorbed by the skin.

This medicine is meant to be used in men. A breastfeeding woman should not come in contact with this medicine.
Can I drive if I have consumed Tamcontin D Tablet?
You may feel dizzy after taking this medicine. So, be cautious while driving or operating machines.
Can I consume alcohol with Tamcontin D Tablet?
This medicine makes you feel dizzy and consuming alcohol may worsen the side effects. Alcohol increases the blood pressure-lowering effect. Thus, it is advised not to drink alcohol when you are taking this medicine.
